Karneval or Fasching is normally a very amusing time, with plenty of beer and wine, and time off work and school. It’s an old joke that adultery committed during Karneval is not grounds for divorce. The last time I was in Munich for Fasching, I was in the town centre. mingling with the crowds, and had the pleasure of having my bottom pinched. I whirled round to face the giggling perpetrator.
